Wipro - Cloud Solution Architect - Technology Business Unit

- We are looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect in Technology BU based in Bangalore. The responsibilities include pursuing Cloud services opportunities working across accounts in the BU both proactively as well as for RFPs. Ability to do a quick assessment on app inventory, put together Cloud solutions on key platforms such as Azure and AWS, spot proactive opportunities, pursue deals working with practices and the account teams until closure, being enthusiastic & energetic and being proactive are the key characteristics that we would look for in the applicants for this role.

Role Dimensions:

- Consultative conversations with Customers on Cloud transformation laying out the case and helping them make choices on platforms as well as the roadmap

- Lead a small cross-SL team conducting Cloud assessment across the estate, planning and come out with the recommendations report as well as the roadmap for the Cloud journey for the customer

- Conduct customer workshops / roadshows on Cloud and work with cross-SL team in architecting the Public / Hybrid Cloud solutions for the customers.

- Run technical track for Cloud RFPs including solution orchestration, estimation and proposal defense with customers

Role Demands -

- 8+ years experience in DC Infrastructure / Application transformation and 2+ years experience on Public Cloud such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, IBM Bluemix etc. Should have ideally spent time in large Cloud migration engagements. Cloud migration experience in architecting Hybrid infrastructure as well as for Enterprise workloads such as SAP would be a plus.

- Experience with across the estate discovery and Cloud assessment and the standard 3rd party tool sets such as Velostrata

Good understanding and experience with Public Cloud platform technologies such as Azure and AWS, Enterprise workloads such as SAP and Open source technologies would be necessary
