Business Research Analyst Job Description : - Supporting a global team of senior executives with market research and business intelligence for Engineering Services industry - Interact with the key stakeholders from the client, operations and other teams for requirements gathering &amp; new projects - Understand stakeholder requirements and translate into technical deliverables across a wide array of products and technologies - Create, present and defend complex positions and strategies for business decisions processes and plans - Carry out Business Process Analysis and Product portfolio Analysis of competition and clients - Prepare benchmark, financial &amp; competitive analysis of external companies - Maintain and update databases and library of Customers / Competitors / Industry news articles &amp; reports - Perform ad hoc projects and create presentations as needed - Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering form a good university; MBA preferred - 3+ years- experience in competitive intelligence research role. Preference : Exceptional analytical skills, including proficiency with MS Excel, relational databases (Gartner, Everest, IDC, DRAUP, Zinnov etc.), and MS PowerPoint - Experience in secondary research, data analytics and modeling techniques - Experience with White Boarding /Data Mapping Documents - Market knowledge of vertical industries such as communications, automotive, healthcare, semiconductors, finance, and energy etc. along with various technology domains such as cloud, IOT, artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0 etc. - Experience with handling complex projects with agile delivery - Requires exceptional communication skills across both technology and the business - Ability to do selective reading, summarizing &amp; organizing databases.
