Wipro BPS - Risk Consultant

Principal Responsibilities :

People with certification : CISA / CISM / CISSP or in the BCP domain - (BCMS) or in card industry - (PCI) or in Privacy of Health data - (PHI / HIPAA) or in Forensics / Investigations (CFE)

Necessary skill - Some knowledge / experience / training / certification in Information Security. The international standard is ISO 27001

- Conducting Process, Function and ISMS audits & Driving Audit & Risk closures in the process

- Identify risk & compliance issues and assisting in mitigating risks. Define Risks That Matter with each Process, along with the Process Management, Focus on Risk That Matters- RTM and develop action plans for mitigation's

- Continuous Risk & Compliance management of processes. Supporting process owner in managing process and information security risk and ensuring contractual compliance

- Constantly monitoring, analyzing and reporting out on Risks and Compliance issues for Site and all processes in Location

- Check on adherence to legal / contractual / business process and relevant international laws and applicable industry regulations

- Enforcement of ISMS policies and procedures for meeting ISO 27001 standards

- Coordination with auditors, functions and Operations for completion including collection of necessary evidences and gap closures of client and other audits

- Ensure implementation of controls and restrictions based on any other standard as applicable

- Engage with the Risk and Compliance management teams at Clients organizations and bring Best Practices to Wipro

- Investigating information security incidents reported and submitting report with corrective & preventive recommendations

- Determine the Root Cause of failure in case of any incident and work to put in place Corrective and Preventive measures

- Educate and create adequate Awareness among the Stakeholder on Information Security policies and procedures

- Communication of Risk & Compliance issues through Awareness sessions, Training's and huddles

- Drive RMAC/COBC certifications & ISMS acceptance etc.

Critical Skills Required :

- Excellent knowledge of computers i.e. Operating systems, Network, MS Office and on-line tools; operating knowledge of SAP or Oracle desirable

- Advanced verbal & written communication skills, advanced presentation skills, interpersonal & people management skills and conflict management skills.

- Ability to exercise managerial judgment and perform as a mentor.

- High emotional intelligence - ability to manage conflict and resolve situations amicably

- Ability to drive results against time constraints.

- Effective planning, scheduling & implementation skills

- Ability to interact with Top Management and Client.

- Ability to work on the move. Travel to locations may be required on short notice. Must be reachable at all times.

- Employees with awareness of processes and working of Outsourcing

- Necessary Skills - Awareness of process risks and controls

- Desirable Skills - Certifications / Training / Experience in Lean / GB Projects

- Desirable Skills - International Certifications like CISA or CISSP or CISM

- Desirable Skills - Proficiency and experience in Forensics / Investigations.

Candidate Specification :

- The applicant should not have been subject to any disciplinary action as an outcome of SIR or any behavioural issue since Jan'13

- Minimum Graduate; Chartered Accountants or Engineers will be preferred

- Rated HVC or above in the last three appraisals

- Candidate shall be responsible for all risk management & compliance activities as applicable to this functional role

- The applicant should be willing to relocate to any location in India or abroad as and when required at short notice. Candidates who are unable to relocate, if required, need not apply.

- The applicant should not have been on a PCCP for the second time in the current role, in the last quarter or the current quarter. If the employee has been put on PCCP for the first time in the current role, he/she is eligible to apply.
