Wipro BPO - Training Manager

Principal Responsibility :

- Should have clearly defined organizational structure of the entire team that will manage Training and Development for Google MAps

- Should have clearly defined and robust process for implementing, managing and executing training requirements for mapping projects

- Should have clearly defined processes for measuring its employees deliverables as per the metrics mutually designed between Google and the vendor

- Sustain a clear, quick and efficient process for handling program implementation work with Google with particular emphasis on speed, flexibility and the ability to scale up quickly. Agility and the ability to deal with ambiguity is the key to success with Google.

- Should have the necessary review checks in place to prevent and/or identify policy deviations, projectwise training delivery requirement on any errors or issues even though Google may require the selected provider to adhere to its own processes

- Manage clear and efficient process for handling day-to-day communications with Google with particular emphasis on escalating and dealing with issues in a quick and effective manner

- Review, Approve and Sign off Policy Change requirements

- Project Management of transition projects, protect knowledge loss, retain experiential knowledge on Maps

Required Skill :

- Global presence and track record of delivery and seamless transition of work/ insights across multiple sites

- Experience of delivering similar services at Google or comparable companies with strong track-record of achieving performance targets and/or improving performances in other contracts

- Demonstrated ability to provide a centralized Training center coordinating and handling processes in Maps

- Strength and experience of the Knowledge management team

- Multilingual capability (optional)

- Ability to hire, ramp up quickly (lead times) & retain (attrition) trainers for all Mapping projects

- Ability to proactively suggest solutions and to continuously improve Training processes and strategize training solution in quick turn around time.

- Ability to run the sustain Knowledge requirements with minimal interference from Google

- Alignment with Google's company culture: comfort with ambiguity, bias to action and collaborative, innovative culture

- Ideal background in a Management Consulting/Services business and/or Human Resources or Organizational Design

- GIS Certifications

- Proven success in project management and execution, multi-tasking and delegating

- Ability to groom and mentor Trainers for future projects and client facing roles

- High level of comfort with numbers and data analytics

- Track record of efficiency gains delivered, Flexibility/ability to ramp up down quickly

- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with proven track record of driving results
