Major Responsibilities :

1. Provide technical trainings & support to Business Controllers and others from time to time.

2. Contribute to the development of financial and accounting policies including the development and maintenance of Global Accounting Policies.

3. Contribute in identifying differences between various geography specific accounting framework in comparison to IFRS.

4. Analyze different business scenarios and consult on the accounting and financial reporting part.

5. Develop Technical Memo from time to time for various business, financial, reporting and auditing matters.

6. Liaison with auditors on all technical matters, audit report, management representations and all other observations of audit.

7. Develop an expertise and leading-edge regarding financial updates relating to IFRS, US-GAAP, Ind-AS, Companies Act, CARO, ICAI Guidelines etc.

8. Provide technical consultation and assist in accounting of revenue recognition for large deals across the globe for different kind of businesses - B2B, B2C, Projects, etc.

9. Analyze, standardize and reviews accounting treatment, disclosures of all Financial Assets and Financial Liabilities as per IFRS-9 / Ind-AS 109.

10. Analyze, standardize and reviews hedge accounting, documentation and carry out effectiveness testing as per IFRS-9 / Ind-AS 109.

11. Assist business in M&A, Demergers, Amalgamation and other internal restructuring from time to time. Accounting for cross border acquisitions as per Ind-AS 103.

12. Benchmark technical practices with Industry and improve from time to time.

Job Requirements :

1. Qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum four years of progressive finance/accounting / transaction advisory / M&A accounting experience.

2. Experience with Big 4 pre and/or post qualification is preferable. Candidate must have worked with relevant team in the past.

3. Demonstrated familiarity with IFRS, US - GAAP, Ind AS, Companies Act, Income Tax Act

4. Must understand concepts of Ind AS 109, Ind AS 103, Ind AS 115, Ind AS 36.

5. Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with business leaders, functional heads & auditors from time to time.

6. Good organizational skills, flexibility to work in different time zones and under pressure in a fast objective-oriented environment.

7. Strong computer skills - MS Office, Outlook etc. Experience of working with recognized ERP software as SAP / Oracle are added advantage.

8. Willing to travel to both internationally and within India from time to time.
