Reporting directly to the Marketing Head, the incumbent will lead the overall Digital Marketing function. A key area of the overall marketing organization, this is a senior level role responsible for setting up the Digital Marketing function. Initially, the incumbent could work as an individual contributor. However, based on need a team can report into this role.
Key Skills :
- Engineer, MBA from a premier Tier 1 institute & 8-12 years post qualification experience
- Deep expertise in digital marketing to a B2B audience required
- Familiarity with brand management, content strategy, alliances marketing
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Ability to work closely with other teams such as Content, Alliances, Product, and Sales
- Data-driven and analytical to identify trends and insights and continuously optimize performance
- Deep & hands-on knowledge of Adwords, SEM/SEO, display marketing, affiliates marketing, paid SMM, Double Click (search, display) remarketing
- Should be well versed with Google Analytics, Webmasters, and other web analytics tools
- Successful track record of managing high engagement communities
- Basic level of technical understanding of server, site architecture, sitemaps, robots.txt, HTML, meta tags
- Ability to document requirements with clarity for easy of execution by the technical team
Key responsibility areas :
- Devise digital marketing strategies and initiate campaigns to drive traffic to the website and generate inbound leads
- Manage and optimize spend across various online media channels
- Manage digital marketing plans, vendors, and implementation across search, social, video, email marketing, affiliates and other digital channels
- Design, build and maintain our social media presence
- Implement innovative social media campaigns across social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp, Google +, blogging-based platforms, etc
- Drive Mobile marketing strategy & plan as well as Social Media Strategy & Plan
- Deliver paid digital media marketing - SEM, SMM, SEO, Affiliates, etc
- Optimize search campaigns regularly for maximizing the output - keyword optimization, ad copy optimization, campaign optimization, landing page optimization. Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
- Create a roadmap of on-site changes that boost SEO on a continual basis and develop the specifications to convey it to the technical team.
- Measure and report the performance of paid digital campaigns vis-a-vis key metric & contribution to business
- Stay attuned to the best practices, algorithm updates, optimization techniques etc.Plan and execute all web, social media, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
