Head of Marketing - SaaS
About us :
Windo is an e-commerce enable tool. We are trying to build a Shopify alternative for Small Businesses. We are a small but effective team of product folks, digital marketers, and customer champions with one goal - to help small businesses.
We're looking for someone to head marketing/growth efforts for us. Someone who is passionate about SaaS, PLG, and organic customer acquisition and loves working with growth-stage companies. Someone who doesn't believe in any rules, believes that every company is different, obsessed with the customer persona, full of ideas, and not afraid to experiment.
What you will do :
- Own and drive the entire marketing activities spanning across growth marketing, content marketing, referral programs, partner co-marketing, and other initiatives.
- Inspire and lead a small and highly motivated marketing team and help attract remarkable talent
Bring about the alignment of business objectives into every marketing activity by defining the objectives, evaluation metrics, and measure outcomes.
- Ideate, experiment, and build new channels for customer acquisition that are scalable
Scale our content marketing activities across all forms - our blog, guest blogging, user communities, partner co-marketing, and social media
- Attract partners to our affiliate program by evaluating the right personals, defining the value proposition for them and conveying the same
- Improve organic acquisition from our product pages with continuous experiments to improve search engine ranking and conversion.
- Improve conversion metrics and customer experience on the website, product and over emails with highly personalized content by leveraging customer data.
- Engage with Integration partners (popular SaaS products), identify and execute on opportunities to promote our product to their customers
What you have :
- A solid understanding of the SaaS business model, inbound marketing, and 3+ years of SaaS marketing experience is a must
- Built an inbound machine in a previous role for a startup/growth stage SaaS business
- Highly analytical & data-driven. Inclined to eliminate guesswork by gathering data wherever feasible & take decisions accordingly.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, full of ideas, love to experiment on them quickly and scale them
- Good understanding of markets in general focus on customer personas and product positioning
- Strong leadership skills, ability to inspire and manage a group of smart young marketers.
- Highly energetic, dynamic, and able to run many things in parallel
