In India, it is head-quartered in Bangalore Role: Wind/Renewable Development Manager( focus on land acquisition and land development for Wind projects) Yrs of exp: 12-15 years, prefebly in handing Wind development projects Reporting to: India CEO Team: there are wind analysts mostly expats who will report into him. There are Development managers in the team. Responsibilities: He will be working on Pan-India basis in the domain of Solar projects - Corporate Planning, Project Development, Business Development along with support to cross functional teams & clients with following skills set: 1. Corporate Planning 2. Hiring contractors 3. Managing entire life cycle of project development 4. Handle Land Acquisition process 5. Regulatory permissions / Statutory Approvals 6. Project Development & Management 7. Legal Due Diligence 8. Business Development & Client Relations - Overall, as a Wind Energy development specialist, you will originate, develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities including building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The core responsibility is to identify new large-scale Wind Energy project opportunities, acquire those projects and complete the technical and commercial development of those projects through to construction, operations and maintenance. - The person must have a good understanding of the power project development process in India, ideally having successfully project managed the development process of both new and existing projects where permitting is mostly completed. - Candidates having Project Management experience during the construction and commissioning phase would be preferred.
