This role provides a rare opportunity for a dynamic professional to gain cross functional exposure in a fast-growing organization. As a CEO of a product or a portfolio of products, a product manager would gain 360-degree view of business, from identifying a potential product/market opportunity through market data analysis, evaluating the market, conceptualizing and developing product for the market, and launching the product successfully. Our products cut across consumer categories such as sports, electronics, home and kitchen, office, toys etc, and our targeted at international e-commerce markets - US, UK, EU.
Roles and responsibilities include :
- Market analysis: Analyze market data such as demand, competition, profit margins etc, to identify potential segments to launch products
- Product development: Identify specifications of our product, based on deep understanding of customer preferences
- Product and category management
- Product features and specifications
- Competitor analysis bench marking
- Demand planning and inventory management
- Advertising spend optimization
- Deals and promotions
- Brand marketing content: Listing, imaging, videos
- Pricing and profitability management
- Customer feedback analysis
- Product upgrade and improvement
- Development of allied products
- Category management
Candidate profile : An - A-player, no less, with MBA from Top Tier schools (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, MDI, SP Jain, FMS, NMIMS, IIFT, NITIE, XIM, IITs, JBIMS, TA Pai, Great Lakes, IFMR, LIBA, BIM)
Experience : 2-7 years. Prior experience in this function not necessary
- Strong quantitative, analytical abilities, extreme comfort with data analysis/interpretation
- Outstanding communication skills
- A - Hustler, who can get things done, with little or no supervision
- Driven and motivated. Quick learner. Emotional intelligence and maturity beyond years, to work across stake holders within and outside the organization
