- Manage staff of 30+ Analysts and TLs
- Motivate, support and develop staff to enhance and maintain the ability to adapt to the changing requirements of a continuously evolving business environment
- Ensures that there is constant communication with senior management to ensure delivery and service of corporate strategies
- Ability to independently drive projects, take initiative and implement process improvements.
- Inspires team to meet customer requirements and improve quality standards by setting high standards.
- Uses statistical information to help operational management of issues, improve quality and customer experience while reducing costs/waste.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness of operating procedures, recommending changes and improvements as appropriate and possible impact on operations.
- Communicates effectively with other personnel, globally, sharing knowledge at all times and adopting best practice
- Leads team and ensures all escalation/issues are handled appropriately and according to company policy
- Be involved in creating and reviewing presentation/ reports written across industries / sectors and add value to them
- Drives the Research Incentive Plan effectively within the team and communicate on an ongoing basis to staff around the performance of the team.
- Creates an environment where innovation is the norm and models this behavior
- Monitoring of costs - including shift allowance; Incentive Plans, etc.
- 5 Plus years of relevant experience in leading and managing teams.
- Graduate/post-graduate in related field such as Finance or Economics
- Advanced knowledge of financial markets and instruments
- Proven People Management experience in leading large teams
- Demonstrated knowledge on process and domain
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to present information. Experience in working with global Teams/Customers various levels;
- Flexibility to work on shifts and be adaptable if required
