We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager who will be responsible for supervising and organizing our sales team. You will be in charge of managing organizational sales and day to day operations by executing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing and other departments on lead generation. You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of our sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitating the ongoing training of our salespeople.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manages and serves as point-person for all day-to-day sales operations
- Managing organizational sales by assisting the Business Unit head in developing and executing business plans that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
- Short-term and long-term forecasting.
- Meeting planned sales goals.
- Manage the travel itinerary of the Sales team.
- Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
- Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
- Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
- Organize and execute the ongoing training of our salespeople.
- Developing our sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
- Promoting the organization and products.
- Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
Experience & Qualification Required:
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Food/FMCG Sales.
- Experience in the pet food industry will be an advantage.
- Must be open to travelling across India.
- Graduate in any field with good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Experience in building relationships and liaising with multiple stakeholders.
- Specialization in handling back office operations, inter-office correspondence, confidential mails, quotations, monthly billing, cheques, etc.
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Experience managing and directing a sales team.
- Ability to lead a sales team.`
