Wiggles India is hiring Legal Counsel with great attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

As a Legal Counsel at Wiggles, you will serve as an in-house Corporate Attorney and handle all complex legal matters and legal compliance projects. You will ensure the legality of commercial transactions and advise our company on legal rights and duties.

Your responsibilities will include:

- To consult and handle all corporate legal processes (e.g. intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, compliance issues, transactions, agreements, lawsuits, patents)

- Developing company policy and position on legal issues.

- Ability to handle all corporate legal procedures which includes;

- Compliance Issues

- Negotiation on commercial contracts

- Drafting of Manufacturing, Distributor, Sale Purchase, Marketing and other agreements

- Insurance Companies Claims

- Intellectual Property,

- Real Estate,

- Mergers and Acquisitions,

- Drafting of Legal Notices and other legal documents

- Cheque bounce cases

- Researching, anticipating and guarding the Company against legal risks.

- Prepare and audit legal reports and review agreements.

- Advice and guide the management and key stakeholders on legal requirements for raising funds with VC/ PE funds.

- Lead on all legal aspects of the fund's transactions - Negotiations, Structuring and Execution

- Create and ensure the entire documentation/legal formalities required for the fund raising

- Leading the fundraising efforts through writing proposals for funding.

- Provides research and information to highlight potential opportunities and help make company decisions about investments

- Develop accurate benchmarks to guide in the projections

- Understand the challenges and roadblocks in the fundraising process and work on overcoming those in the company's favor.

- Provide extreme confidentiality in all company-related issues.

- Advise the Management and employees on legal matters.

- Experience: 3-5 Years of work experience as a Legal Counsel

- Minimum Qualification: BL/LLB - (3years/5years)

Key Requirements:

LL.B is a must.

- Corporate Law/ CS qualified

- Proven comparable law firm experience

- Proven background on corporate law (contract law, tax law, accounting, securities law, bankruptcy, intellectual property rights, licensing, zoning laws)

- Excellent negotiation and communications skills

- Administrative and Managerial skills

- Analytical ability and strong attention to detail

- Computer skills

- Should have experience of assisting in fundraising as a legal professional

- Blend of CA/CS/Law would be a plus

- Startup/Institutional Fund/Investment Banker experience would be a plus
