We have an Urgent Opening for Banking Research-Mumbai.

We are looking for candidates with experience in European banking sector & strong knowledge of credit research covering different sectors.

- 2-6 yrs experience required - minimum 2 Years into (Banking Research)

- Credit fundamentals should be good

- Looking for someone who has BANKING RESEARCH experience (mandatory requirement)

- Willing to learn, good writing skills

Job Responsibilities include :

- Cover the portfolio of investment grade, high yield and distressed debts

- Prepare financial models and update them regularly by tracking the company events

- Reconcile the capital structure (bonds, loans, financial leases, undrawn credit lines, etc.) of companies by collecting information from Bloomberg, Capital IQ, company filings, etc.

- Forecast the model based on revenue drivers, cost drivers and other operating parameters

- Perform peer analysis on the basis of key parameters and ratios

- Keep track of relevant news reports

- Work on ad-hoc client requests

Basic Qualifications :

- CA or MBA from a reputed institute

- CFA / FRM

IT Skills Required :

- Proficiency in Excel

- Have hands-on experience in using Bloomberg, Reuters, Datastream, etc.

- Basic knowledge of VBA

Financial skills desirable :

- Experience working on large data-sets

- Basic knowledge of Bond / Fixed income products

Personal skills required :

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Demonstrated ability to work in a time sensitive environment

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Strong interest in the subject matter

- Resourcefulness, and proactive attitude
