Consultant, Risk Analytics

Objective

- A, leading management consultancy firm seeks an experienced and accomplished Risk Management professional with significant experience in risk modeling and analytics, and sound understanding of Financial Services risk management principles and practice

Experience Required

1. At least 4 years Wholesale Risk Analytics experience at one or more of the following areas:

a. Default (PD, LGD, EAD) modeling

b. Capital & liquidity modeling

c. Stress testing

d. Risk policy & regulation

e. Design of risk rating frameworks, controls and processes

f. Functional design and database modeling for Wholesale risk management systems and applications

2. Strong understanding of risk regulatory framework of one more of the major economies across globe (i.e. US, EU, etc.). Knowledge of Basel II/ III principles and practice

3. Experience with leading model reviews and validations (covering both conceptual foundation and technical merit) for risk and valuation models

4. Proficiency in using MS Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Other Requirements

1. Graduate/Post-Graduate in a quantitative field (engineering/economics/statistics) or Management.

2. Strong project management skills and demonstrated experience in managing teams across functions and geographies

3. Exposure to working in globally distributed workforce environment including offshore model

4. Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time

5. Manage a team of analytics resources to ensure that deliverables are met with quality and in a timely fashion.

6. Develop statistical models to support marketing efforts, such as customer segmentation, acquisition and retention

7. Develop statistical testing programs to measure and improve on-going performance of marketing campaigns

8. Apply appropriate techniques, such as exploratory data analysis, regression, bootstrapping, trees, cluster analysis, survival analysis and so on.

9. Strong academic background. Industry certifications such as FRM, PRM, CFA preferred

10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Technical Skills:

- Must be Proficient in SAS and SQL

- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

- Systems administration skills a plus
