Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :

The Portfolio Credit Analyst III is responsible for Credit Analysis and Risk Management of an existing portfolio of commercial merchant accounts. The successful candidate will minimize the credit risk and financial loss the merchant account provides to the firm through thoughtful, detailed analysis of financial statements.

Responsibilities :

- Perform a detailed financial statement analysis (balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows) based on key financial ratios extracted from private or public company financials.

- Perform a formal narrative financial analysis (underwriting) of varying length on the financial statements provided by the company; narrative summary on company background, processing history, ownership and management.

- Recommend final credit decision and approval terms

- Perform collateral reserve reviews upon merchant's request and recommends an ongoing strategy to increase/ decrease the collateral reserve requirement.

- Review contractual terms of clients Commerce Solutions legal agreements.

- Review business model and processing characteristics for existing merchants to ensure and report on compliance with Payment Brand rules and regulations.

- Perform portfolio ad-hoc analysis as needed.
