Job Description :
- Provide leadership in understanding the science of learning and in designing innovative learning experiments
- Analyze the student learning outcome data and draw insights from student learning continuum and learning gaps across grades and subjects
- Develop hypothesis on what leads to learning outcome gaps based on the data
- Develop methods to personalize learning experience of students based on learning outcome data
- Work with data analysts/scientists to develop analytical models to correlate learning outcomes data with key drivers of learning outcomes like engagement, curriculum, pedagogy, program, and student background
- Design innovative experiments to overcome learning gaps based on data and insights from analytics
- Partner with different program teams to evaluate effectiveness and viability of different interventions
- Design pilots by working with different program teams using experimental designs for impact measurement
- Collaborate with different teams to plan and execute pilots, collect data, analyze success metrics, and share insights with different teams
- Collaborate with technology and product teams to develop scalable assessment solutions
- Manage assessment projects including design, development, administration, analysis, and reporting
Skills/Experience Required :
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience with at least 5 years of experience in the education sector
- Atleast 3 years of hands-on experience in design, development, and implementation of learning and pedagogical innovations in the K12 sector
- Experience in carrying out analysis of learning outcome data and in presenting actionable insights to different stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience in making data-based decisions to design learning experiments
- Knowledge of research and sampling designs
- Demonstrable ability to navigate tensions between theoretical purity and practical constraints in research
- Knowledge of current issues in learning outcome growth and its measurement in K-12 sector
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, including strong report writing skills
