Position: Business Data Analyst

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a young, dynamic, skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing ongoing reports. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and provide data-driven solutions for complex business challenges.

Responsibilities:

- Work with multiple stakeholders across Business/Product/Data teams to identify and prioritise the company's biggest challenges and key strategic opportunities in the areas of workflow, innovation, communication/outreach, and strategic planning.

- Build long-term goals and build a roadmap for the company.

- Should be able to take ownership/initiatives to drive business outcomes.

- Handle open-ended problem statements and structure them into actionable and build a data-driven roadmap.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and measure the impact of initiatives to make noticeable improvements based on impact and feedback.

- Develop the skills required in the team to achieve goals.

- Deep dive and acquire an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices and apply them when solving business problems.

Requirements:

- Relevant experience of 4-6 years in product /e-commerce.

- Bachelor/ Master's Degree in Engineering.

- Experience with cross-functional teams for implementation of project requirements.

- Strong technical skills in SQL and Python.

- Data Story Visualization (Tableau and QlikView etc. ).

- Good knowledge of Statistics, Hypothesis testing, and ML algorithms(Regression analysis, Clustering algorithms, random forest, and market basket analysis).

- Experience in technical requirements gathering and the ability to document technical requirements

- Strong at team handling/mentoring and stakeholder management.

- Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

- Demonstrated ability to be a big-picture thinker, strategist, and long-term planner.

- Outstanding attention to detail; Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
