Job Summary :

The person handling this role will be responsible for driving Infrastructure strategy and operations for all the Whirlpool locations in the Asia South Region across the following towers :

- Cloud

- LAN/ WAN

- SAP and leading SAP Basis

- IT Asset Management

- PC Engineering

- Data Centres/ Servers and Data Back Up

- Service Desk and Ticket Handling

- Shifting the locations

- Vendor Management - Global & Local Contracts

- License Management

- Security

- Management of Infrastructure Budgets - Capital, Expense including allocations

- Google Mail/ Collaboration

- Video Conferencing

- Telephony

- End User Support

Candidate Profile :

- IT operations - 35%

- Representation of Asia South in all global meetings & discussions on way forward of Infra solutions/services - 15%

Key Result Areas :

- Co-own strategizing the IT needs in terms of Infrastructure as per business requirements and GIS Roadmap.

- Represent the Asia region in the global governance process in both the infrastructure and application maintenance agreements.

- Manage the Strategic Partners on a day to day basis in ensuring delivery standards, SLA and end user satisfaction.

- Be the first point of user escalation for all Infrastructure issues, should issues arise with the service levels or ticket completion.

- Implement and execute Infrastructure projects including planning and tracking by utilizing the global project process.

- Budgeting and tracking of all Infrastructure related costs

- Support business engagement through harmonized Infrastructure delivery

- Co ordinate with Global Infrastructure groups and ensure consistent adherence to GIS standards and policies.

- Help define, fine tune and maintain local IT Infrastructure processes.

- Ensure proper and adequate IT and Security policy implementation and adherence.

- Excellent soft skills should be able to interface well with end users and partners.

- Scan technology trends and recommend options to the Global Infrastructure Organization.

- Conduct need based user training and orientation

- Evaluating / sort listing tactical solutions and vendors for Infrastructure

- Regularly publish metrics of IT Infrastructure Operations

Qualifications : B.tech/MCA with 12-14 years of experience

Added advantage for : ITIL Certification, CCNA / CCNP Certification

Experience :

- The candidate should have direct business interaction in the current role and should not be limited to remote management of Infrastructure Operations.

Expertise in :

- SAP Basis, SAP HANA

- Handling cloud agreements will be an added advantage

- RF Scanners

- Active Directory, Altiris, Windows OS

- Managing End User Services, Personal computing

- Technologies for LAN, WAN, Video Conferencing and Information Workplace etc.
