The AMS FA representative working closely with the Business Relationship Manager and regional CIO as a trusted business consultant assisting in delivery of application support and enhancement strategy, intake and delivery. Working daily with and managing activities of our AMS Supplier will provide business functional guidance as well as day-to-day systems consulting and work prioritization.

- Whirlpool resources who have deep knowledge of how the applications support the business processes in their area and answer - how to- questions as first point of contact for end users (User Assist). If the Functional Analyst cannot resolve the service request it is raised to the AMS Supplier.

- Service Requests may result in changes to systems and processes. Functional Analysts are going to be responsible for providing input to business process changes and requirements and might perform user acceptance testing of changes. They support their business area for changes and deliver training if required. Functional Analysts will also work with the regional and global process leads to help prioritize the enhancements performed by the AMS Supplier. Functional Analysts will also identify other project requests from the business for additional scope of services not covered under this SOW. The Functional Analysts will work with their local Regional AMS contact to identify any additional services required. The Functional Analyst role will provide most of the following functions:

- Provide education and communication to the business on the capabilities of the SAP enterprise solution to increase business value realized

- Provide first line assistance and analysis to end users for functional business process support

- Determine when additional support (i.e., level 2 application break/fix support) is required for the end user, and escalate the issue to the appropriate team. (Note: the preferred process is for the end user to contact a Functional Analyst; in case of emergencies or availability of an appropriate Functional Analyst, the user may use the help desk as the secondary support vehicle).

- Participate as a member of the AMS Functional Analyst team in Asia North, focusing on managing delivery of support services to Whirlpool across all SAP modules.

- Interact with AMS Supplier Leads and Analysts on a day-to-day basis. Manage work assignments of the AMS Supplier as it relates to the FAs SAP area of responsibility

- Jointly own (with IS) responsibility for the development of training materials.

- Train the business end-users on updated business processes, and translate training to local language, as necessary.

- Identify regression and integration testing requirements and provide guidance to project teams in developing end-to-end test scenarios.

- Receive end-user enhancement requests, reject or accept the request and submit requests for prioritization.

- Assess and recommend process or system changes to increase business effectiveness and efficiency

- Work with AMS Supplier to prioritize new enhancements and new functionality.

- Assess impact of systems enhancements to existing business processes, determine business readiness, and recommend changes to business processes, as appropriate

- Participate in project definition, development, testing, implementation and post go-live support during projects as required

- Work with the business to obtain transport approvals

- Facilitate process of implementing changes to production, or provide approval of transports into production.

- Assess the systems changes for SOX impacts, communicate the impacts to the business, and seek approval from Internal Controls/ Shared Service Center (SSC).

- Attend Change Management Reviews as a representative of the business processes (Note: this includes representation of SOX compliance)

- Understand impact of SOX changes.

- Continue to engage to the business to understand and help not just the bug fixing but also for configuration and enhancement requirement and manage the vendors to deliver the service.

- Potentially work on the management reporting requirement such as PMR, P4G, GSIR and etc., after the integration project on Whirlpool side, guide and influence the new Company to get the right data and consolidate in Whirlpool's system for rolling up. Oracle knowledge is not a must but would be a plus or nice to have skill.

- Will have the opportunity for recommending the improvement in business process when working with the business users.

- Understand broader operations of the local facility and act as a back-up to the BRM to ensure smooth daily operations

Candidate Profile

- Work Time Zone - China Time Zone (2.5 Hrs ahead of IST)

Candidates should have :-

MBA / BTech / BE

- Knowledge & Experience

- University degree in Computer Science or relevant majors;

- At least 5 years of hands-on SAP implementation or trouble shooting experience;

- Solid knowledge of relational database architectures;

- At least 3 years of business solution and delivery experience in IT areas;

- Object oriented program skill is a plus.

- Overall experience of 8-10 years.

- Hard Skills & Soft Skills

- SAP 4.5 and above

- Strong Knowledge of key SAP modules: FICO, COPA, HR

- Some knowledge on other SAP modules such as SD, MM

- Have relational database concept;

- Good in logical and analytical thinking;

- Good in documentation the self presenting skills;

- Strong spirit of teamwork

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to influence

- Commitment towards processes

- Strong Interpersonal skills

- Strong belief and conviction in the face of stress

- Orientation towards end consumer - employee

- Willingness to travel overseas on short assignments

- Customer centric attitude and capability to handle issues on both ends of the spectrum - operational to strategic

- Should be willing to join at the earliest (within 1-2 months)
