Whirlpool - Branch Commercial Manager

Education Qualification : MBA Finance /CA / ICWA

- Ensure execution of all financial activities in the branch in line with the budgets to drive profitability and achieve PMR for the branch

- Monitor the execution of credit and control policies and manage the account payable and receivables for the branch; release of credit notes and money from the branches

- Ensure discounts and allowances are implemented as per strategy across all branches and resolve executionary issues if any

- Ensure timely cash collection from trade partners to ensure lower bad debts

- Manage trade partner issues and settlements for the branch and initiate proceedings if required

- Liaison with sales teams and trade partners on an ongoing basis to discuss the execution of all commercial activities and identify areas of problem

- Effectively manage Carrying and Forwarding agents activities

- Ensure compliance and timely disbursements of taxes pertaining to the products sold in the branch

- Manage inventory for products and provide suggestions for liquidation of defective machines

- Prepare billing and collection plan for the branch for review by the regional commercial manager

- Ensure SOX compliance and adherence with other legal requirements in the branch

- Prepare MIS on total profitability, PMR, etc. for the branch, identify areas of improvement and suggest corrective actions for future

- Conduct internal audit for the branch and identify areas with irregularities or discrepancies

- People Management and development:

- Responsible for team building to compete in the market and meet consumer expectation

- Support in driving motivation levels of the team, monitor staff welfare and facilitate grievance resolution to manage efficiency levels and drive timely delivery of all operational targets by the team
