PURPOSE
Create & sustain a dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities & motivates high performance amongst team members; imparting continuous on-job training to accomplish greater operational efficiency
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for delivery of Category P&L
- Accountable for driving category sales and support sales channels through execution of advertising, promotion and branding activities
- Responsible for market size estimation, identifying market trends and shift in consumer preferences and pricing decisions pertaining to the category
- Responsible for tracking and mitigating competition actions
- Responsible for driving various planning cycles (eg, long range plan, profit plan, operating plan) for product category.
- Responsible for supporting product design process, mining of consumer relevant innovation and maintaining the health of product portfolio
- Responsible for New Product Development, Launch and Project Management
- Networking
External : Collaborate with vendors
Internal:
1. Collaborate with Design, procurement and supply chain team towards product development
2. Collaborate with Sales Channel Heads and Regional Sales Managers for need analysis and implementation
