Job Description:
We are seeking a driven and motivated Area Sales Manager to oversee our sales operations in the Delhi NCR region, with a specific focus on SMT & MT outlets. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in FMCG sales, particularly in dealing with MT distribution channels. Previous experience in brands that cater to ready-to-sell products is crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the SMT & MT segment
- Set achievable sales targets and closely monitor performance against these targets.
Relationship Management:
- Foster strong relationships with SMT & MT outlets, understanding their needs and challenges, and providing timely solutions.
- Collaborate with distributors to ensure smooth product distribution and timely order fulfilment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven track record of at least X years in FMCG sales, with a strong focus on SMT & MT based distribution.
- Previous experience in brands that excel in ready-to-sell products preferred.
- In-depth understanding of the hawker market dynamics and customer behavior.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Familiarity with sales CRM software and proficiency in MS Office suite.
