Financial Planning and Analysis Manager - Gurgaon

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Budgeting and Forecasting creates annual budgets and forecasts for the company's financial performance, incorporating input from various departments and considering internal and external factors that might impact the business. They track actual performance against these budgets and forecasts to identify deviations and take corrective actions.

- Capital Allocation: Will assist in resource allocation by analyzing the financial impact of various projects, initiatives, and operational activities. This will help us to ensure that resources are allocated efficiently to achieve the company's goals.

- Experience of creating annual operating plan / short term & long-term plan of the organization having multiple business, multiple distribution channels, new investment and multiple stakeholders.

- Performance Measurement: Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the company's financial and operational performance. Will help in identifying areas of success and areas needing improvement, enabling management to make informed decisions.

- Financial Analysis: conduct detailed financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and variance analysis. Tracking financial and non-financial KPIs such as BAU / MAU, retention cohorts, onboarding definitions, LTV / CAC, Cross sell, up-sell, GMV, Cash burn, EBITDA, Churn, etc.

- Management Reporting / Investor Reporting : Experience of creating and sharing MIS with the management / multiple stakeholders and Investors in the multiple formats but with the same definition / metrics. Experience of handling financial questions from investors/ stakeholders.

- Experience in MIS structuring skills - how to classify cost into different buckets. - Sales, operating, investment, G&A. Identify the key performance indicators, link the company objective with financial metric / goals.

- Assist in Strategic Planning: Company's long-term strategic planning by analyzing financial data, market trends, and business opportunities. Assist in evaluating potential investments, expansion strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and other significant business decisions.

- Competition Analysis: Will help us to compare the financials data of the other competitors to understand financial ratios, their business growth vis- vis profitability, valuation multiplier, cost analysis.

- Financial Modeling: Will build financial models to simulate different scenarios, assess potential risks, and forecast outcomes. These models help in decision-making by providing a clearer understanding of the potential financial implications of different choices.

Other Common skills required: must have:

- Experience in Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present financial analysis and insights to non-financial stakeholders

- Experience in leading and managing teams to collaborate effectively and achieve financial goals.

- Inter-personal skills to get the desired data on time from the stakeholders.

- Proficient in MS excel, Google sheets and PowerPoint.

Skills required: Good to have:

- Knowledge of BI Tools - Business Intelligence (BI) tools are software applications that help organizations collect, analyze, visualize, and present business data to facilitate informed decision-making. These tools process raw data into meaningful insights, enabling users to understand trends, patterns, and performance metrics. Examples of BI tools, Tableau, Power BI, IBM Cognos.

- CA / MBA finance (Tier 1 college) with 5-8 years of overall experience.
