Role Overview:

As an Associate Director in our Founder's Office Strategy team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and spearheading opportunities for 10x growth and efficiency within our organization. This role demands innovative thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on execution to drive product development and implementation. You will work closely with the Founders and leadership team, engaging with teams across various functions to identify real problems, develop solutions, validate ideas, build viable solutions, and implement them effectively on the ground.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage deeply and collaboratively across different functions to drive strategic initiatives and innovation.

Frugality: Embrace the Lean Startup approach, prioritizing cost-effective experimentation and quick iteration in product development.

Field Work & Execution: Roll up your sleeves and actively participate in running experiments, validating ideas, and seeking feedback from consumers. Emphasize the importance of execution over mere ideation.

Contrarian/Out of the Box Thinking: Challenge conventional norms and actively seek out emerging technologies and unconventional solutions to drive innovation within the industry.

Perseverance: Demonstrate resilience and tenacity in navigating challenges and uncertainties inherent in our growth journey. The saying goes, "95% of product ideas never see the light of day" - so tenacity & upstream swimming would be a prerequisite for the role.

Requirements:

- B2B /B2C Startup experience is mandatory

- Experience: 3 to 8 years of working in the CEO's office/Strategy function/program management roles.

- You possess a strong business acumen and have an analytical mindset with a problem solving aptitude.

- You are a strong networker & relationship builder who can work well in fast paced environments.

- You are an empathetic, customer centric individual with strong relationship-building skills.

- You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Our work week is Monday - Saturday (6 days)

The experience we promise:

The role works very closely with the Founders and the leadership team, and entails having to engage and discuss deeply with teams across other functions to (a) uncover real problems, (b) hypothesise solutions, (c) validate ideas, (d) build viable solutions, and (e) implement them on the ground.

The role would have tremendous exposure to the latest technologies shaping the F&V domain, by way of participations in various forums and field visits to other players in the ecosystem. The candidate should expect to travel, to attend events, for field implementations, and for partner visits. Overall, the candidate should expect a very rigorous, demanding & yet, a great learning & rewarding experience. Travel would be intense.

The role would be based in our Chennai HQ.
