Functional Role Deal Coordinator Purpose The Transactions Management team is responsible for deal feasibility, coordination of deal documents with landlords and cross-departmental responsible for supporting all transactional work and performing all deal analysis and deal management pertaining to WeWork's regional expansion. The Deal Coordinator position is responsible for facilitating all actions required for the professional management of WeWork's leasing pipeline and portfolio within their designated region and territory. As a dedicated member of a regional deal team, this role requires a deep understanding of deal economics and real estate portfolio management, and with some familiarity with the term sheet and lease negotiation. Accountable for : - Working directly with a dedicated Real Estate Manager to support term sheet and lease negotiation - Coordinate with the development team and ensure initial test fits are prepared for the shortlisted asset - Ownership of the technical due delligence/ Ops rider/fit out Guidelines and the maintenance agreement documents from the RE team perspective - Coordinating with the DLs/Landlord team/IPCs with regards to the technical details/ drawings/ statutory documentation for the shortlisted assets - Facilitating timely deal conversion, advantageous deal terms, successful lease negotiation, project management and overall portfolio management - Coordination with operation team and project team with regards to the formal handover of the property for fitouts and coordination with the Landlords for any inspections in the property before formal handover of the property - Facilitating all actions required for the professional management of global portfolio - Maintaining systems for regional portfolio management Capabilities : - 4 or more years of relevant work experience in RE Projects, Architecture and/or Project Management - Experience with commercial real estate and transaction management - Strong capabilities in project coordination - Strong understanding of commercial real estate industry - Impeccable and concise communication and presentation skills, verbal and written - Teamwork, cooperation, and ability to take direction - Reliable, focused and detail-oriented - Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines - Strong time management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously - Excels under pressure; ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
