We are a leader in both! As a Delivery Head, you will be responsible for driving the service delivery for the assigned platforms/ portfolios through a predefined frame-work. As a leader in the organization, you will be responsible for continuous improvements to onsite/offshore delivery model. The broad range of responsibilities include leading a team of Managers and engineering and configuration associates, partnering with key stakeholders, both off-shore and on-shore, and delivering on the service level agreements. This includes monitoring on-going risks and providing resolutions, driving process improvements, resource planning &amp; optimization and performance management. The role requires leading, managing and growing the platform/portfolio assigned to the role by managing the Service Level Agreements of the assigned are of responsibility. The role will have a dual reporting structure with solid line into India Site Leader and a dotted line into Demand/Domain vertical leader typically onshore in USA. Key responsibilities: - Builds and mentors a work class India technology team (approx.. size 150) including application development, application integration, and data management - Hires and develops outstanding technology talent and resources. - Manages the delivery of digital back end technologies - Thinks and acts strategically. Stays abreast of trends and advances in digital engineering and FINTECH. - Provides leadership for the Pune Digital front end team on the diverse set of programs through strong collaboration across multiple business units, regions and functional groups. Takes ownership for key initiatives. Develops plans and budgets. - Presents business updates, recommendations, strategic opportunities and assessments to the Digital leadership and senior management as needed. - Executes to success through diligent planning, attention to detail, effective delegation and efficient decision making - Influences a strong set of leaders that can drive success for the individual business development teams - Communicates effectively across multiple organizations to ensure that the teams are completely aligned to the objectives and can do the job effectively - Builds strong inter-personal relationships with peers and other key stakeholders that can help smooth execution - Drives people, process, and technology initiatives to optimize Digital delivery capacity, quality and efficiency - Inspires team members and Business Units to adopt a design thinking mindset - Migration of responsibilities of assigned platforms/portfolios and processes as per project timelines and ensure smooth knowledge transfer in partnership with on-shore and off shore stake holders - Develop domain expertise for all digital platforms and portfolios and leads the team with solutions engineering and execution of various initiatives. - Leads execution priorities - project delivery, employee goals, and establish service levels with business and functional owners to drive service quality through quality control - Partner with all stakeholders as required to implement employer branding and talent attraction, performance management, employee development, employee engagement and retention programs - Recommends strategy for functional and business units supported and ensures the implementation of high-end, business-wide, critical strategy set by senior management - Hires, leads, manages and mentors engineering lead managers who will be responsible for leading our digital front end engineering scrum teams (~150 employees) - Manage key third party strategic partnerships across application teams and resolve issues as needed - Provides guidance, planning and direction for functional units supported - Participates and represents Digital front end Pune team in capacity and program planning exercises What we require: - Master's degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Business Administration or equivalent from a premiere institute (preferred) - 10+ years of IT leadership and management experience - Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality innovative software service products to market that deliver business results - A passion for building a great working environment where the best want to come work and stay - A laser focus on outstanding business outcomes with effective and fast decision making that takes into account the interests of all three key stakeholders - employees, customers and shareholders - A strong technology background coupled with experience in making the right tradeoffs that balance the short and long - Must be very comfortable with Agile and related methodologies to accelerate decisions and outcomes while minimizing risk - Experience in a financial services, payments, banking verticals - Experience in customer facing front end applications - web, mobile, and APIs - Prior experience in managing vendor relationships - Prior experience leading onshore and offshore delivery, including working overlapping business hours to partner with onshore teams - Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges, with a can do attitude; possess strong leadership skills in guiding and directing teams throughout the SDLC process - Extensive experience in developing applications and technology solutions for Digital - Understanding of logical and physical database architectures and operating systems. - Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver results - Strong Customer Centric mindset with an ability to outperform Service Level Agreements on Customer satisfaction and experience - Extensive experience in release management and agile methodologies and DevOps - Ability to interact in global environment with colleagues and employees in different geographical regions &nbsp;Technical area of expertise: - Expertise in multiple development platforms (Web technologies, Mobile frameworks, Restful APIs) - Experience implementing various database technologies such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server. - AWS cloud experience with knowledge/expertise in continuous integration/deployment/automation capabilities - Experience in CD/CI frameworks, methodologies, and tools Apply: If you're ready for a challenge and want to be involved in something that will change an industry and impact millions of people and businesses around the world, then apply today! #LI-WU To apply for this position, please use the following URL:
