To provide the talent that fuels our continued success, the Digital hub is seeking to find an additional team member in Bangalore.

The Job

This role is a part of the growing Decision Sciences team within Digital hub in Bangalore responsible for protecting customers and company from fraud while ensuring that they chose the most appropriate transactions on WU digital platform. In this role you will use your analytical skills to develop and maintain a suite of risk models and rules to confirm the security of online transactions is non-compromised. You will need to analyze and assess digital transaction activity to identify loss reduction opportunities and suggest solutions to execute them. You will also work closely on online customer behavior profiling and conduct ad-hoc data analysis in response to internal and external analytic requests using various statics tools.

About you

We are a company that has a proven track record of developing our people therefore we don't need you to have many years of experience but our desire is that you have the drive to succeed coupled with the ability to analyze problems and produce justification to enhance fraud decisions. You can complete exercises of SQL/SAS programming. Therefore Master's degree in quantitative related field (Statistics, Math, Operations Research, M-tech, B-tech+MBA etc) is preferable. By now you should have working knowledge of statistical analysis tools like R, Matlab. You should be familiar with developing predictive models like logistic regression, decision tree etc. and machine learning techniques. It will help you if you can navigate in Linux/Unix system or ability to learn on the job new tools and system.

To sum up if you have less than 3 years of experience or certified educational background in data analysis field then WU is waiting for your application.
