Right now, we are seeking a Senior Associate - IT Asset Management (Hardware)

Senior Associate - IT Asset Management (Hardware) is responsible to manage all technology assets, their locations, lifecycle, inventory, contracts and support. This position provides asset and service management for the global IT team, acts as a resource in projects as needed; designs processes, policies, procedures and implements asset tracking systems following best practice. Demonstrated history in the will be critical for a candidate to be considered. Additional experience and knowledge with software licensing and creating, implementing and maintaining an asset management process and tool from the ground up, will really make your resume stand out. ITIL, ITAM certification, although not required, would be a real plus. You will be instrumental in developing associated practices, procedures and tools. This position works in close collaboration with WU Service Provider Governance, WU Corporate Procurement, ITIO, and Supplier.

Key responsibilities:

- Tracks and manages all IT software and hardware assets globally, their warranties and maintenance, throughout their lifecycles in accordance with ISO requirements

- In conjunction with accounting, tracks all IT fixed assets

- Defines and implements an asset receiving process

- Maintains all software licenses and subscriptions and ensures compliance

- Tracks all IT assets- physical location

- Maintains global lease agreements

- Recommends, consults and assists in the implementation of an asset management tool and processes

- Coordinates virtual or physical audits of all IT hardware and software

- Leads license reconciliation and true-up processes

- Manages the safe and secure disposal of assets

What we require:

- 2 years or more in an IT Asset Management capacity or equivalent

- Familiarity with Service Management

- Knowledge of software licensing structure

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

- Familiarity with IT technologies including common hardware, networking, and software licensing

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Preferred Skills include but not limited to:

- Experience creating, implementing and maintaining a new asset management process

- ITIL, ITAM Certification a plus, but not required

- Experience with an ERP system with a familiarity with general purchasing and receiving processes

- Passionate about quality customer service and positive interactions with internal customers

- Proactively researches solutions and improvements to the environment

- Self-starter and motivated approach to projects and problem resolution requiring little direct management

- Team player with ability to be an independent thinker and come up with solutions
