We are looking for a senior level strategist to head and lead our Category Buyer function preferably from Building Material industry. This position will report in directly into CEO-Domestic Business. - Strategic sourcing for products categories using sourcing expertise and focused industry analysis/criticality analysis/competitive analysis - Delivering New/Continuous/Advanced development projects, on aligned target timeline set by the Business head, Marketing & Engineering - Procurement results are tracked via advance analytic tools by setting up goals in consideration with cross-functional teams. - Negotiating all Global/local purchase contracts for legal terms &amp; conditions and ensuring the interest of the organization is secured. - Developing purchase managers to conduct commercial negotiation to the lowest cost and following procurement's policies and procedures - Debottlenecking all issues on delivery &amp; shipping, cost, product quality - Ensuring continuous update of procurement policies to meet ever-changing business needs - Benchmarking to ensure a comprehensive review of competitive scenarios, commodity market, and supply base analysis. - Developing, maintaining, and monitoring marketplace information to allow continuous assessment of products total cost structures. - Attending appropriate trade shows &amp; external sourcing events, proactively sharing &amp; evaluating information gathered for New Product Developments/ Improvements - Improving profit margins through cost optimization &amp; driving VA/VE initiatives around high spend concentration commodities Procurement Governance, Risk, and Controls: - Implementing standardized tools, practices &amp; procedures to shorten RFQ, RFP, New supplier introduction time, and decision making. KPIs &amp; other metrics reporting to the leadership team and other stakeholders to drive insights/ business trends&nbsp; - Supporting development and adherence to financial, fraud-prevention, and risk management control throughout Procurement processes.&nbsp; - Providing thought leadership for the development of Global procurement policies and Practices
