Key Responsibility Areas:

1. Drive funds raising (rupee as well foreign currency loans), funds management, forex management, financial closure and disbursements etc.

2. Working closely with the Group Corporate Finance team

3. Negotiations with banks & financial institutions, establish and negotiate credit lines, fund based as well as non-fund base, for long term & short term requirements etc

4. Particpiate in the organistion’s strategies & business, strong contributor to business and drive financial planning process

5. Ensure adherence to financial and accounting policies & statutory compliances

6. Proper accounting & Balance sheet management and management of statutory, tax, internal and cost audits

7. Ensure timely & accurate financial reporting to various stakeholders

8. Cash flow management, Corporate finance, capital markets, private equity and financial structuring exposure and knowledge

9. Introducing and implementing systems and procedures, strong internal controls amd

10. Review of the systems financial measures, enhance and, where appropriate, introduce financial systems to ensure efficiency

Qualifications and experience;

Essential - CA

- 15+ years experience in a similar role in industry preferably in power sector / infrastructure sector in India
Desirable:

- Good relationships with Banks, FIs and other funding agencies such as NBFCs etc

- Relationships with rating agencies, accounting firms, investment bankers etc would be added advantage

- Ability to co-ordinate with various stakehlders

Job Description:

1. Facilitates new business by identifying and engaging with funding opportunities

2. Helps the finance department and the team to prepare an effective plan which assumes validated information and financial models to communicate value of projects envisioned for engagement

3. Determine the benefits of upcoming and future projects (and opportunities) and recommend the executive body and the board to make appropriate decisions

4. Work with the Presidents, Director and MD on strategic issues, reviewing and developing vision,
communicating the same to the stakeholders

5. Work with the President, Director and the MD to respond to contingencies or systemic disruptions effectively and efficiently in order to resolve organisational problems with minimum time and impact

6. Work with the Presidents, Director and MD in developing stakeholder relationships and ensuring that there are periodic interactions (other than board meetings ) so that the relationships are cordial and create progressive environment

7. Participate in negotiation processes during important contracts and bidding processes

8. Develop and engage teams during discussion and negotiations of fund infusion

9. Develop overall budgets, systems and controls

10. Develop the knowledge level of tam members to enlarge their vision and search for possibilities and opportunities

11. Ensure maintenance of cash flow adequacy

12. Ensure compliance and accounting processes adhering to highest acknowledged standards

13. Develop a monitoring system of banking and financial institution coverage by team members

14. Develop a network of financial world and ensure building an organisation-to-organisation relationship with the enterprise.

15. Develop people and keep them motivated to participate in the overall objectives of the company
