Job Purpose/Summary:

- The main role of Business IT Head is end to end design and implementation of strategic and digital transformational projects and operational management of information system of the organization.

- To develop, recommend and monitor effective implementation of the IT Processes, Systems and Policies consistent with business strategic plans, objectives and priorities.

Principal Accountabilities:

Long term IT Strategy:

- Formulate the long-term IT Strategy for Core Textiles Export Business in alignment with the Overall mission and strategic direction of WIL

Budgeting and Review:

- To create a short and medium term budgetary plan for IT and its investment requirements.

Cost Reduction & Optimization:

- Consolidation of Applications across the group and working on effective use and optimization

Business Process Integration:

- Business process integration with SAP, Web Portals, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Industry 4.0, RPAs, MS Suite of Products , standardization of partners.

IT PMO:

- Program Management of all IT projects across the business.

IT Policy and Procedure standardization across the group:

- To address the current gaps in the existing IT policies and procedure and get it filled by keeping in mind the business requirements

License Management:

- Software License Management for various IT applications in integration with Group IT

New IT / Digital Transformational Projects Implementation & IT Strategic Outsourcing:

- Evaluation, selection, and implementation in alignment with Business Requirement

- Selecting and implementing suitable technology to streamline all internal operations/ transformational projects and help optimize their strategic benefits

IT Policies / Risk Management/ Security/ IT Audits:

- Proficiency in establishing IT services framework and IT security policies considering nature of business

- Plan, design, build and support security standards, programs, policies and processes which enable business processes while minimizing risk

- Manage and maintain the effectiveness of both the security tools and vendor partnership required to execute a successful security program.

New Developments:

- Constantly keeping a connect with new developments happening globally which can impact business if implemented

- Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage
