Human Resource Business Partner for Operations business unit supporting ~ 500 + team members. Responsible for complex / diverse businesses across single/ multi-city locations with complete operational responsibility for HR function. The position is based in Chennai and will be required to work Mid shift : 3 PM to 12 AM.

Responsible for providing human resource consultation for highly complex business functions, multiple business functions or a large, single focus business. Functions in a highly consultative manner. Provides proactive support to client groups by developing and implementing sound human resource programs that meet business objectives. Partners with senior managers as an internal consultant to strategize, define and resolve extremely complex issues where analysis requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors. Exercises independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Works with management to build leadership competencies and consult on management practices. Functions as a project team lead related to achieving area goals. Collaborates and networks across Wells Fargo.

- Provide guidance to business unit leader/s on specific Human Resources discipline, Develop program, processes to support business objectives and Partner with Business Unit leaders on growth-related workforce planning, structure & span, Career Planning & Development, Capability building, and succession planning

- Be an advisor/consultant to Managers in a business unit, Participates in the formulation of company policies and procedures

- Review and analyze business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and team member experience. Working with business groups assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of team member engagement initiatives within the business unit/LOB

- Engage and manage stakeholder relationships and delivery of services with a high focus on quality

- Drive performance management across the LOBs assigned

- Provide ongoing support to the AVP-HR/VP-HR, HR leadership team on human resources related matters, policies, and procedures

- HR Analytics

Market Skills and Certifications :

- Must have 7+ years of experience, Experience in a GIC would be desirable (both back office and technology operations)

- Be a go-to person on HR technical expert on highly complex people issues

- Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative

- Exposure to multiple HR domains & working knowledge in one of the domains

- Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results Multi-cultural sensitivity.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, expert in MS Office

- Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills
