Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, assign monthly performance goals, ensure their completion, and accomplish your own goals
- Plan, design, and set strategy around goals for growth.
- Evaluate performance and productivity for individuals and organization-wide.
- Control budgets, maintain forecasts, oversee expenditures, and optimize opportunities for profitability.
- Oversee accounting, procurement, marketing, customer success, IT, HR, data analytics, and continuous improvement functions
- Ensure employees are motivated and productive.
- Evaluate and improve operations, financial performance, and ability to meet KPIs.
- Analyze sales, product wise sales, accounting and financial data for decision-making purposes
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g., profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
- Implement strategies for improved services, business continuity, and organizational growth
- Define long-term strategic goals and develop clear plans to implement them.
- Improve internal processes and ensure employees work as a cohesive unit.
- Adhere to company standards for operational excellence and high-quality service
- Seek opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
- Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas
Requirement:
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Sales Manager, Zonal Sales Manager or similar executive role
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in supervisory or leadership roles
- A Master's degree with a specialization in MSc/MA, or MBA is considered an asset
- Experience in Pharmaceutical sector, if having experience in veterinary sector is considered an asset
- Strong leadership qualities and decision-making abilities.
- Experience dealing with financial operations, planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Knowledge of business processes and functions (accounting, finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)
- High aptitude for problem-solving
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
