WeKanCode Technologies - Investment Analyst

Wekan is an early stage accelerator/fund which is focused on finding the right team and company. We work with passionate founders, solve challenging problems and accelerate companies that we believe can make a global impact.

For the next 3 years, we are focused on accelerating next generation mobility (which include travel, logistics and automotive) and B2B SAAS (focused on cross border acceleration, built in India solving global problem).

We are 3 years old, have invested into 10 seed stage startups, have 2 exits. Now we are on a mission to identify and build out 30 new disruptive companies which are solving challenging problems.

We are looking for someone who is obsessive with data, continuously identifying market trends and predicting business model shifts.

Expectation from an Analyst

a. Prediction:

- Reading company financial statements and plans and form an opinion.

- Tracking business trends and monitor key new developments.

- Demonstrating depth of insight and predicting future trends in Wekan's core investment areas.

- Predicting future trends in one or more investment areas.

b. Networking

- Building and maintaining relationships within one's alumni and other professional networks.

- Actively promoting the image of the firm within these networks.

- Participating in conferences (not as speakers) and forums to represent the firm and builds thought and knowledge in one's area of expertise.

c. Diligence Support

- Providing information, analysis and support at all stages of the investment process including negotiation, due diligence and the mechanics of completing the transaction.

- Coming up with a transaction strategy (based on a complete understanding of the organization, the price value comparison, the risks and the comfort around the entrepreneurs- value system).

d. Portfolio support

- Facilitating, coordinating and monitoring the availability of variety of support systems needed by the portfolio companies.

- Working on building a strong MIS to portfolio and sending monthly updates to partnership with MIS

- Building a productive and collaborative alliance at an operating level within the portfolio companies that facilitate two-way communication and information sharing
