WeInvest - Product Owner/Product Head

Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Lead the development of product strategy and vision for WeInvest globally.

- Create buy-in for the product vision & strategy from stakeholders & the management team.

- Oversee the definition and management of high-quality product roadmaps based on strategy.

- Create mockups, design sketches, wireframes to communicate product features to management and engineering teams.

- Create high fidelity designs working with UI & UX designers.

- Convert customer needs, product features and designs into coherent engineering requirements.

- Create Core Product Delivery plans and manage execution in weekly sprints by working very closely with the engineering team.

- Setup processes and team structure to be able to continuously and rapidly iterate on the ideate > build > launch > measure cycle to accelerate product-market fit.

- Manage delivery of current products to clients concurrently with future product planning.

- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.

- Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load.

- Handle Client Senior Management (SVP/Director Level) to drive them to common agenda during discussions and manage client expectations on the Product front.

- Should anticipate operational and tactical risks and track them.

- Clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues.

- Organize the projects effectively so that they can be handed over anytime and take up new critical projects in case of emergency.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Between 8 - 12 years of experience with a substantial part of it in product management in technology, Fin-tech, investment/wealth management institutions or similar companies.

- Successful track record of delivering high-quality online / mobile products from conception through completion on time and within budgets.

- Expertise in the business processes of the wealth / investment management domain is a big plus.

- Familiarity with Regional Markets and Financial Structures (Stock / Bond Markets, Exchanges, Regulators, Auctions, Asset Classes) is a big plus. Exposure to SEA / US is preferred.

- Demonstrated business judgment as well as ability to think creatively, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize.

- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop product roadmaps.

- Ability to think strategically, conceptualize and prioritize projects and execute methodically.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively on shared projects with designers, business analysts, program managers, developer teams and testers.

- Strong team-orientation and the ability to work with multi-cultural, geographically distributed and cross functional teams.

- Conversant with current technology landscape and software development processes. Exposure to Agile methodology is a plus.

- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality with an entrepreneurial spirit.
