Responsibility: -
- Overseeing all aspects of the company's website, including content, design, user experience, and functionality to ensure it effectively represents the brand and engages visitors.
- The responsibility includes quick identification of development areas, reacting proactively to problems, and ensuring quick turn-around of website related business and real-world requirements.
- The role is strongly supported by the highest levels of business and can mobilize organizational resources, and enable connections, towards to goal of maintaining a constantly evolving, best in class website which is visually appealing, easy to navigate, and responsive across all devices.
- The candidate should be able to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and timely updation of 2500+ websites maintained in 65 languages.
Preferred candidate profile:-
Required:-
- Website management, digital marketing, or a related role, with a proven track record of success.
- In-depth knowledge of web development best practices, frameworks, and content management systems, with a specific emphasis on Content Management Systems (Contenful, JIRA or similar platforms/tools) and W3C Web standards.
- Proficient in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, mySQL and JavaScript.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, cloud technologies, and mobile web development.
- Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Per Click (PPC) and the ability to improve website rankings and organic traffic.
- Understanding of UX principles and design concepts to enhance website usability and aesthetics.
Education: Minimum: Post-Graduate or Global Equivalent Degree in relevant field such as Computer Science, Digital Media & Web Development.
Experience: Over 10 years of work experience in website management, digital marketing, or a related role
- Experience in the BPO / Travel / Hospitality industry is an additional benefit. 5+ years should be in senior management position/level.
