Below is the job description for Online marketing - WeAreHolidays.com, one of India's fastest growing travel startups. It is a marketplace offering customized vacation options for Indians traveling outside India. WeAreHolidays (WAH Holiday Private Limited), a 2011 company, is charging ahead with the vision of creating the largest marketplace for Indians going on holiday.

Its founding team has extensive experience of working at MakeMyTrip, and includes Engineers (from IIT & other reputed institutes), Management graduates (from IIM & other reputed institutes) and numerous souls who- ve chosen the road less travelled on their entrepreneurial journeys.

It is a venture-funded company with Matrix Partners (Silicon Valley & India based) as the lead investor. Matrix Partners has invested in several market leaders in the consumer technology space including Quikr (online classifieds), Olacabs (cab marketplace), Stayzilla (stays marketplace), LimeRoad (social commerce marketplace), Mswipe (mobile POS), NewsHunt (local language mobile platform) and U2opia (social mobile apps) among others.

The company also has Blume ventures as one of its investors. Blume Ventures has investments in some of the leading companies in the Indian internet space. As someone who would be joining the team, you need to be a self-starter and show strong ownership/commitment and have experience in incubating and maturing a business in this fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

We're looking for a passionate, awesome, kick ass - someone- to execute WeAreHolidays- vision of being the largest managed marketplace for holidays in this part of the world.You'll be leading our efforts to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across all online/mobile channels & platforms. Ideal candidate should be a competitive, analytical business leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Bias for action is a must-have quality.

Key Responsibilities :

- Mandate to lead all online paid marketing initiatives - paid search, display, social, content marketing, referral marketing, affiliate networks, Ad networks, etc all.

- Develop inbound marketing fundamentals for our products, including audience definition, positioning, messaging, and life cycle strategies.

- Constantly improve the volume, cost & impact metrics delivered through strong analytics based optimizations.

- Partner with Product Management, Design, Sales, Operations, and fellow marketers to deliver integrated end-to-end product launches, acquisition, engagement and retention campaigns.

- Deliver performance across paid search campaigns by driving keyword expansion, improving account structures, Quality Score & landing page optimizations, ad copy & bid optimizations, conversion optimizations, etc.

- Deliver performance across non-search campaigns by driving optimizations across positions, sizes, creatives, proposition, conversions, retargeting, personalization etc.

- Developing strong objective sets for campaigns based on business intelligence.

- Through the above, deliver on the committed traffic quantity, quality & cost parameters agreed with the product / business / marketing teams.

- Take responsibility for the design, production and validation of web traffic reporting, marketing spends & RoI, business impact, customer acquisition costs, etc.

- Develop forecasts, measurement plans, reporting and results analysis.

- Hire, manage & build a small but strong team with best in class search marketing competencies, skills & experience sets.

- Be the first person responsible to hire, manage & drive agencies and tools for managing search campaigns

The ideal candidate for this profile will be someone :

- With excellent judgement; data-driven decision maker.

- Has a strong track record of shaping marketing & customer acquisition strategy, closely aligning with the overall business strategy. Minimum experience of 1 year is expected.

- Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills, with a creative and flexible attitude.

- Has relentlessly high standards (is never satisfied with the status quo).

- Is able to dive deep and is never out of touch with the details of the business. Thinks big, without losing the details.

- Expects and requires innovation of her/his team.

- Has passion and convictions and the innate ability to inspire passion in others.

- Is a Graduate/MBA from a tier 1 institute.

- Bonus points for previous start-up experience.

- Strong inter-personal skills, intense curiosity, and a desire and ability to "get things done".

- Able to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic start up environment.

- Hungry for growth with fire in the belly.

This position will be based full time at Gurgaon.
