WayCool - Tech Lead - Web & Android Apps

Responsibilities :

- Lead a 20 member tech team in developing and maintaining full technology portfolio, including but not limited to agri-supply chain and related business use cases

- Revamp the end-to-end tech stack and architecture, and create/implement integration planning with our core ERP systems

- Build and execute the infrastructure strategy for the hosting of products, domains etc.

- Work with engineers, PMs and designers, to quickly ship new front-end experiments.

- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.

- Define and execute the tech strategy of the company in a lead up to SaaS/PaaS model.

-Design and manage WayCool's CI/CD and DevOps framework and processes

- Thrive in a culture of continuous improvement by optimizing web products and related components to achieve and maintain high performance of business applications.

Requirements :

- Around 10 years of experience of leading tech teams (Web and Android apps) preferable from new age SaaS platform companies (e.g. Freshworks)

- Strong experience in end-to-end tech stack development and maintenance

- Strong experience with devops - worked across multiple cloud and on-premise infrastructures

- Experience in developing and running products in PaaS/SaaS set-up

- Ability to take strong calls on devops technologies for the company

- Expertise in third party API integration - payment gateways, Storage, Streaming services, etc.

- Comfortable working with Spark and related Apache technologies

- Having experience working with JSON / XML and REST API structure

- Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of web services

- Database experience with MySQL, NoSQL and any PostgreSQL experience

- Knowledge of SecOps/DevOps tools (e.g. SaltStack, Ansible, Jenkins, ELK Stack etc.)

- A sound knowledge of Object-Oriented (OOPS) Programming & Design Pattern

- Agile and Iterative (TDD) development expertise is a must
