Key Responsibilities / Deliverables / Outcomes / Impact
- Take a closer look to the current planning tools and processes with the aim to improve them.
- Will introduce new tools and procedures that embody a smarter/more digital way of working.
- Translate the forecast into short term and long-term planning proposals.
- Take the lead in the monthly S&OP meeting.
- Manage and coach a team of direct and indirect.
- Establish alignment between business and operations to optimize S&OP and demand planning across the organization
- Develop and manage a cross-functional team for effective end-to-end demand and supply planning
- Work closely with production, sales, sourcing & procurement, marketing, Logistics & operations, and business support teams to collect and analyze intelligence, statistical data, monthly forecasts, and customer feedback.
- Integrate technology to aggregate level data and create a productive network of inputs between various stakeholders to derive detailed planning
- Analyze and edit demand plans for addressing gaps in forecast and inventory backlog
- Review performance metrics, schedules, and inventory volumes to incorporate structural decisions in supply planning
- Document and present actual vs. forecast performance in finalization meetings
- Set-up the S&OP process and routines (initially).
- Set-up data processes on demand and supply side to ensure availability of timely and quality data (e.g., menu mix, supplies etc.) for planning
- Coordinate closely with business planning and sourcing teams to have the updated sales and sourcing plans.
- Run the periodic S&OP meetings, and the prep meetings as needed.
- Ensure adherence by tracking critical KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy and adherence to inventory norms by distributors and OTIF/Fill Rates at the supplier end).
- Develop/validate 3 months rolling forecasts, Design and rollout management reporting for periodic update to the management team.
Candidate Requirements (Education / Work Experience / Skills / Competencies)
- Master Degree in an economic or supply chain - related domain.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience (supply chain/S&OP).
- Involved in project management during previous roles.
- Have excellent analytical skills and you quickly understand/analyse supply chain processes.
- Have a dynamic personality and you have an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Possess the capacities to coach a team.
- Constantly looking for opportunities that improve efficiency and productivity.
- Experience in strategically leading the S&OP team to collate data intelligence and optimize supply planning
- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques, sales processes, and financial systems for effective collaboration to integrate planning.
- Good functional/Analytical skills
- Communication skills and team player
- Experience in working in Matrix based procurement organizations.
- Experience in supply chain planning and running S&OP across QSR/Food Retail/FMCG
- Experience in handling multiple stakeholders
- Be a recognized leader of change.
Stake holders: Internal: Internally, this position will interact frequently with Internal S&D Head and cross functional teams including NPD, Sourcing & Procurement, Logistics, Operations, Trade-marketing.
External: Distributors & RPC's
