Position - Procurement Head - Dairy

Location - Chittoor

Responsibilities are as follows

1. Formulate and implement raw milk procurement strategy

2. Organize village level meeting with farmers and establish collection centers

3. Establish milk collection routes and chilling centers/BMCs.

4. Manage the procurement operation on day to day basis

5. Ensure that required volume of milk is procured with right parameters and cost

6. Prepare guideline for procurement so as to ensure efficient operation

7. Ensure that demand for milk is taken care off in all seasons - lean and flush

8. Identify new geographies to expand so as to ensure continued procurement in future

9. Execute awareness and outreach programs in villages so as to create goodwill and ensure brand recall among dairy farmers

10. Drive sale of feed and other goods/services provided by the company among the farmers

11. Recruit, train and supervise procurement team

12. Must be from dairy industry with 8 - 12 years of procurement experience and must be comfortable in Tamil and Telugu language
