Role - Head Of Sales - GT/MT
Location - Chennai or Bangalore
Experience - 6 - 12 years in sales (Food/FMCG)
Key responsibilities are as follows.
- Focus on sales in modern trade and general trade.
- Identify account-specific key products and programs to promote the same.
- Drive the availability, visibility of products and implementation of promotional programs.
- Sales forecasting and tracking key metrics.
- Manage the collection tightly and ensure that the outstanding is under control.
- Closely liaise with the marketing team and implement campaigns, drive visibility and communication.
- Drive the team to achieve top line and bottom line targets as per business plan.
- Build, train and develop the sales team.
- Ensure developing effective distribution network in the assigned region for easy availability of products.
- Define, communicate and implement sales strategies.
- Ensure complete coverage of existing customers and better customer service.
- Develop the territory and improve market share.
What we are looking for are as follows.
1. MBA from tier-1 institutions.
2. Experience in driving sales in general trade and modern trade in FMCG or food segment.
3. Need to have an entrepreneurial mindset - Ability to navigate in unstructured environment with limited supervision.
4. Strong communication and people management skills.
5. Readiness to understand products/business, culture of the organization and develop plans accordingly.
