WayCool - Area Sales Manager - SAMT Job Purpose : Delivering Sales of the assigned region by meeting category people of SAMT / ISS (Standalone Modern Trade / Independent Self Service Stores) & getting new articles listed, promotion on existing as well as on new launch articles, setting MBQ, updating master and finalizing promotional plan & JBP (Joint Business Plans) for the year. Key Responsibilities / Deliverables / Outcomes / Impact : - Delivering Sales Volume Primary and Secondary target assigned to the Area - Meeting Infrastructure targets - Meeting Distribution expansion targets. - Meeting New Product launch targets. - Distributer management and taking care of payments, execution of POs, claims, damage and supply. - Ensuring the return targets of each retailer/distributor is met. - Ensuring profitability of the region - Utilization of budget received from company for different MT accounts to escalation sales and market share. - Finalizing and conducting activity, Demos, free sampling, for new product as well as existing one, and conducting range review meet for buyers. - Reporting to NKAM about sales, promotion, planning, competitor analysis and Target v/s Achievement. - Meeting with store DM, TL to create more opportunity and increase our market share compare to competitors. - Focus on range selling and set target accordingly - People Management - Maintaining a conducive professional relationship with all business partners. - Recruiting, Managing and Developing Team - Keeping them motivated, providing guidance, monitoring performance. - Putting in place good operations and excelling in Operational excellence. - Driving Local sales promotion schemes, Visibility campaigns and new product launches. - Monitoring Budgets and utilizing the same to optimum level. - Co-ordinating with depot team to ensure proper claim management, Order processing. - Analyzing competition scenario & reporting the same. MIS reporting - Complete resolution of all issues in the territory and ensuring smooth operations. Candidate Requirements (Education / Work Experience / Skills / Competencies) Skills : - Candidates with FMCG industry exposure at an Area level - Must have handled a team of Sales officers and front-line sales representatives. - Must have experience in consistently excelling Sales, Infra and Distribution related Metrics. Education Qualification : - MBA with experience preferred : 2 years of experience as a manager (ASM) with exposure to regional markets - Fluency in English & local language MANDATORY. Channel exposure : - Must have handled Standalone Supermarkets, Wholesale Channel & Modern Trade. - Highly ambitious and high hunger for success; Strong motivation; Ability to prioritize and multi-task; Ability to quickly identify and provide resolution on issues.
