Manager - Sales

Job Description:

- The primary responsibility will be to generate sales and foster lasting relationships with clients.

- You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue by identifying new opportunities and promoting our packages/services to potential clients.

- This position involves a combination of sales and relationship-building activities.

- Generate Leads using multiple channels.

- Conduct demonstrations to highlight key functionalities and advantages. Showcase the benefits and unique features of Wattmonk's products to potential clients.

Requirements:

- Experience in sales or customer service.

- Good communication skills.

- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and the ability to work independently and with the team.

- Proficiency in using CRMs and Microsoft Office applications.

- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

- Professional conduct in all interactions with clients.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Business Growth:

- Generate sales & leads: Actively work towards increasing business by generating & closing deals and securing sales.

- Target Solar Installers: Specifically focus efforts on the solar installer market, understanding their needs and positioning Wattmonk's products as solutions.

- Strategic Planning: Conduct a thorough analysis of the current market trends and identify potential opportunities and challenges. Work closely with leadership to set clear and achievable sales objectives.

Number of Closed Deals:

- No. of completed demonstrations.

- Improve the conversion rate from leads to clients. Track the number of successful deals closed every day.

- Responsible for meeting Monthly Sales target.

Deal Size: Calculate the value of each deal according to its volume/sold packages or services.

- This is important for determining the scale of the deals the sales department is closing.

Time Management: Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to maximize productivity.

Client Satisfaction: Clearly articulate the features and benefits of Wattmonk's products to potential customers. Tailor communication to address the specific needs and concerns of clients. Use surveys or feedback forms to assess client satisfaction and gather insights for improvement.

Client Retention Rate: Ensure that existing clients are being retained and generating repeat business.

Cross-Selling and Upselling: Track the number of additional services sold to existing clients.

Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records. Keep detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities for analysis and planning. Report on weekly basis on critical parameters related to sales processes.

Track of Payments: Ensure payment from clients is being collected against every sale. Report deviations and resolve in a timely manner.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

Lead Generation: Focus on generating a steady stream of high-quality leads through various channels, such as cold calling, and social media.

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and market conditions.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and problems are addressed promptly.

Sales Process Efficiency: Optimize the sales process to reduce friction and expedite deal closure.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other team members and departments.

Client Education: Educate clients on the benefits and features of the products and services to ensure they make informed buying decisions.

Adaptability: Be flexible and willing to adjust strategies and tactics as market conditions change.
