Job Summary:
As a Warranty Sales Manager in the automobile industry, you will be responsible for leading and managing the warranty sales function to ensure revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive warranty programs, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of warranty sales professionals to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's product knowledge and sales skills.
Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize warranty sales revenue.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealerships, and other stakeholders.
- Address customer concerns and issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Sales Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance to senior management.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in automotive technology and warranty programs.
- Provide ongoing training to the sales team on new products and services.
Contract Negotiation:
- Negotiate warranty contracts with clients and dealerships, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contract terms and conditions.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all warranty sales activities.
- Implement quality assurance measures to uphold the integrity of warranty programs.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the warranty sales budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with overall business objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 7-15 years in warranty sales within the automobile industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive warranty programs and industry trends.
- Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
