Warehouse Head - Retail

We are looking for Warehouse Head for One of the Biggest Retail company.

Person should be local. Should have handled a warehouse of minimum 1 Lac Sqft. Preference will be given to a person who worked in retail/FMCG.

Location : Kolkata

Job Description :

- Manage set up of new warehouse

- Manage end to end logistics from WH to stores for the respective regions

- Support in monitoring the cost effectiveness and efficiency of the warehouses and implement process improvements for the same

- Monitor the performance of the respective regional warehouses for productivity enhancement and cost optimizations

- Manage and monitor the vendor/transporter operations in the respective region for timely deliveries and efficiency

- Ensure the stocks reach store warehouse within the lead time and are inwarded within the stipulated time and go to the floor for sale

- Resolve SAP issues faced during inwards at stores in co-ordination with sap team

- Monitoring stock take activities at store

- Follow up with transporters to clear goods in transit that exceeds the lead time

- Manage and monitor the weekly in-transit reports from warehouse to stores and reports from stores to warehouses

- Ensure warehouse registers are updated during store visits

- Monitor weekly reports to warehouse executives and resolve queries quickly and efficiently

- Provide weekly stock inventory cover report of critical mcs to HO team

- Provide Weekly inwards and outwards report to Zonal team
