Job Description: Walter Advisors is seeking a highly motivated Chartered Accountant with 1 to 3 years experience in transaction advisory to join our team. The role will primarily focus on three major responsibilities: sell-side preparation, sell-side advisory, and buy-side advisory. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and attention to detail, along with the ability to manage complex transactions from start to finish.

Job Responsibilities

Sell-Side Preparation:

- Conduct housekeeping activities to ensure proper due diligence preparation and planning for potential transactions.

- Align with business objectives and financial goals to optimize transaction outcomes.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to gather necessary information and documentation.

Sell-Side Advisory:

- Select the appropriate investment bank and due diligence advisors to support the transaction process.

- Provide financial analysis and support throughout the transaction lifecycle.

- Coordinate due diligence activities, including financial and legal due diligence.

- Develop financial models and perform valuations to assess transaction feasibility and value.

- Assist in negotiation and finalization of deals, including deal structuring and tax planning.

- Prepare pitch decks for smaller-scale transactions to attract potential buyers or investors.

- Provide assistance in post-merger integration activities to ensure smooth transition and value realization.

Buy-Side Advisory:

- Conduct detailed financial analysis of target companies to assess their financial health and performance.

- Perform high-level financial due diligence to identify potential risks and opportunities.

- Engage in commercial negotiations to achieve favorable terms for our clients.

- Assess strategic fit and synergy potential between the acquiring company and the target.

- Identify red flags and potential deal breakers to mitigate risks.

- Provide tax structuring advice to optimize tax efficiency for the transaction.

- Offer post-transaction financial advisory support and assistance in post-merger integration activities.

Position Requirements:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1 to 3 years of experience in transaction advisory or related fields.

- Strong understanding of financial analysis, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.

- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation tools.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience in managing clients with a turnover exceeding Rs. 100 crores in the manufacturing sector.

- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
