Establishes short and long-term vision and strategy for internal communications in consultation with function head
Works out a strategy document with overall direction by analysing business objectives and needs and includes the following:
- Tools for building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices
- Plans of resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; and identifying and capitalizing on improvement and opportunity areas
- Shapes internal communications across Walmart India business to further organizational performance (help in overall org. alignment with the enterprise strategy through strategic internal communication), associate engagement, and advocacy
- Shapes the future of communications across Walmart India business - both corporate and store - to further organizational performance, associate engagement, and advocacy
- by building and leveraging resources and relationships to create strategic communications
- directing, facilitating, influencing, and inspiring a shared network of communicators with direct or indirect reporting relationships such as Store Managers/Store HR managers for stories and information
- establishing internal channels or capabilities (for example, digital channels, social media capabilities and processes); and developing and ensuring adherence to messaging and branding strategy of the company.
- influencing other functions through leadership and expertise
- providing content for executive communications internally and serving as counsel during preparation of the executive leadership for internal engagements
- maintaining and executing master calendar of communications; sharing calendars with other functions ensure alignment; reviewing communications activities; editing content etc
- evaluating and editing content or design for consistency; enforcing corporate style and branding; crafting various forms of communications (for example, blogs, videos, corporate announcements, presentations); and facilitating the use of tools to cross promote and maximize communication effectiveness.
- identifying, aligning, and optimizing global internal communication resources and systems such as Walmart One and Fusion;
- partnering with appropriate departments (for example, Legal, Human Resources,) to roll out policies most effectively;
Through effective use of platforms and communication channels/events such as Townhall meetings, Monday Morning meetings and weekly emails,
- He/she cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance.
- Develops and leverages internal networks to maximize the achievement of and Communicating key community outreach and employee engagement initiatives;
- Engages key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas.
Salary range - 9-15 LPA
