Your Opportunity : - As a part of platform team, you will develop and own one or more areas of road map for Walmart's platform products. Platform will ensure we have a robust lake storage system, feature rich ETL pipeline, strong metadata, data governance and security enforced in the platform, &amp; improve self-service to leverage data in lake for consumption &amp; advanced machine learning through state of the art Data Science tools. In this process, candidate is expected to perform market research, stakeholder interviews, discuss pain points with customers, create design and enable development to deliver world class platform for Walmart. - You will be looked upon as a single point of contact across US &amp; Bangalore for driving the product to prioritize right set of features, align them to business needs and market appropriately to improve adoption. Your Responsibility: - Develops and champions product strategies for one or more complex platform components, and roadmap for one or more platform product areas in support of architectural vision and principles established - Develop external &amp; internal market analysis and Fitment - Own and drive Analyst relationships, where applicable - Do in-depth Build, buy, partner analysis, open-sourcing, &amp; go-to-market strategies - Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects - Ensures business needs are being met - Manage &amp; drive partner roadmap relationships - Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity - Supports product implementation and deployment - Good academic record with Computer Science or Engineering background; prefer a top tier MBA - 5+ years of Industry experience, focused on solving data &amp; analytics challenges with minimum 6 years of solid product management experience; prefer some e-commerce or retail experience - Strong product management experience in data &amp; analytics domain, proven experience in building data products to solve critical business problems considering user at the center stage - Must have experience working with and influencing partner roadmap - Solid understanding of how to build &amp; market platform solutions in cloud - Preferred Experience: Technical Marketing, Solutions Marketing, Sales Engineering or Professional services - Proven experience leading products from concept through sales or user adoption - Results oriented and ability to lead products with favourable outcome - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to present to senior executives - Good experience of working with globally distributed teams in a collaborative and productive manner - Prefer experience in one or more of the following areas: Big Data(familiarity with Hadoop, MAPR, BigQuery, Presto etc.), data Quality and Governance, Machine Learning, Cloud Security and Privacy, etc.
