Our Team : 

The US Tech Ads product management team at Walmart Labs, Bengaluru, is focused on building the best advertising tech platform which will help advertisers reach the right audiences leveraging Walmart's data while providing extremely relevant and innovative ad experiences for our customers. All the work we do @Walmart Labs eventually benefits our customers, our operations & our associates and enables customers to Save Money, Live Better.

The opportunity : 

- We're looking for a Product Manager to help reimagine the way brand advertisers can reach their audience across the internet with highly personalised and relevant ads leveraging Walmart's omni-channel data. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building a best in class demand side platform with advance campaign management, targeting, measurement, and optimization capabilities to empower world's largest brands plan and execute highly effective ad-campaigns. If you- re excited about building industry's best omni-channel ad-platform, this role is a great career move. 


- The role is focused on building a robust and scalable measurement and reporting platform that combines Walmart's omni-channel shopper data to measure the effectiveness of ad-campaigns in driving customer engagement and conversion. To succeed, you will need to be creative, innovative, data driven, an influencer, problem solver and great communicator.

Responsibilities : 

- Conduct industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging trends in advertising industry to identify new opportunities. Conduct customer research to define customer segments and identify needs to inform product roadmap.

- Drive product requirement definitions, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, KPIs and other launch efforts

- Work with data science, engineering, design and Walmart partners to define the data requirements, measurement methodologies, APIs, UX for advertising platforms

- Partner with internal advertising sales team and Walmart retail teams to create unique, compelling experiences that benefit shoppers and our advertising clients

- Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make prioritization trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences

- Manage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organised and structured way and willing to do what it takes to make our product successful.

Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering or related field. MBA a huge plus

- 5+ years in product management, digital marketing, data analytics.

- Online display advertising industry experience is highly desired. Experience with DFP, Machine learning, audience targeting and other display advertising technologies

- Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize

- Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically

- Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, proven ability to influence others internally and externally

Preferred Qualifications : 

- Experience developing product and business strategy with business, marketing and design stakeholders

- Experience in eCommerce and Retail

- Experience in advertising technology is a requirement

- MBA or other advanced degree
