Our Team :

The US Tech Ads product management team at Walmart Labs, Bengaluru, is focused on building the best advertising tech platform which will help advertisers reach the right audiences leveraging Walmart's data while providing extremely relevant and innovative ad experiences for our customers. Your Opportunity:

- eCommerce is a top priority and growth area for Walmart, all set to further accelerate with creating and defining new vertical and omnichannel experiences. 


- You can be a part of this high-growth, massive-scale, fast-paced environment, building continuous, seamless, omni-channel customer experiences across physical stores, eCommerce and mobile commerce, unique to Walmart. As a key part of a newly setup and rapidly growing Customer Experience product management team, you will work on some of the most challenging customer problems, manage a wide variety of Walmart brands including grocery, general merchandize, pharmacy as well as core ecommerce site and personalised discovery products, while mentoring budding product managers.

Responsibilities :

- Conduct industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging trends in advertising industry to identify new opportunities. Conduct customer research to define customer segments and identify needs to inform product roadmap.

- Drive product requirement definitions, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, KPIs and other launch efforts

- Work with data science, engineering, design and Walmart partners to define the data requirements, measurement methodologies, APIs, UX for advertising platforms

- Partner with internal advertising sales team and Walmart retail teams to create unique, compelling experiences that benefit shoppers and our advertising clients

- Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make prioritisation trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences

- Manage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organised and structured way and willing to do what it takes to make our product successful.

- Manage a high performing team

- Our ideal candidate is a customer-centric, sensitive to design, fluent in analytics, energetic, self- motivated individual focused on solving customer problems. He/she has a strong sense of product ownership and commitment to grow and build PM talent, coupled with a strong passion for technology and innovation.


- She/he is an excellent communicator and builds strong cross-functional relationships, internally and externally. He/she is results-oriented and demonstrates a strong bias for action. Plus, with teams based in Bengaluru, New York, California, Arkansas and Portland, exceptional communications is a must.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering or related field. MBA a huge plus

- 7+ years in product management, digital marketing, data analytics.

- Managing high performance team.

- Online display advertising industry experience is highly desired. Experience with DFP, Machine learning, audience targeting and other display advertising technologies

- Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize

- Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically

- Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, proven ability to influence others internally and externally
